Noel Fritsch, founder and publisher of National File, lamented the fact that the objective of the vast majority of media companies in America today is to control and censor the news.
“Most of these media companies don’t even make money. In fact, their expressed purpose and their sole reason for being in existence is to control and to basically censor, because in the press you have omission and you have commission. These are the two biggest rules that the editorial takes – what do you cover and what you do not cover,” Fritsch told host Pete Santilli during a recent episode of “The Pete Santilli Show.”
Santilli lauded National File for being one of the few exceptions to the norm. The mentioned that the outlet broke the story about Ashley Biden’s diary and driving the news on a number of fronts in both the mainstream and conservative press.
Fritsch said their ragtag band of young guys is just getting over it by scrapping, hustling and fighting for original and breaking news stories. He praised his team for doing an outstanding work in terms of headline writing. But with the crackdown on headline writing already starting, Fritsch said that part of the job is now changing and evolving as well.
The publisher also took note that the global chamber of commerce is basically having a near-stranglehold over the information that can and cannot be released by the mainstream media.
Santilli said that has been the case for a long time and it has only gotten worse. “News was always run by commerce and the news pages now are being filled with editorial content bought and paid for by the advertisers,” he said.
The controversial radio talk show host added that there is a different feel now when it comes to great investigative journalism or news pieces compared to what people can find back in the day.
Fritsch agreed, saying that people are not seeing that kind of news stories that much anymore these days. He added that aside from the global chamber of commerce, the military-industrial complex and Big Pharma are also funding media companies now.
Santilli pointed out that the consequential news stories were not being covered by the corporate media. “Americans need more outlets like the National File, which pay attention to what is really going on in the country and around the world,” he said.
Fritsch mentioned that several news media outlets have been sold out to people with “super high-level moneyed interests.”
“And what ends up being presented on TV every day is just window dressing. It’s artifice almost in its entirety. And I think that most viewers, most Americans, most voters know in their gut that something is wrong. They know that instinctively that most of it is just total BS,” Fritsch said.
“They don’t know exactly what it is though. And it’s hard to put your finger on because these folks are really good at kind of hiding the ball. They are playing their carnies and they’re playing hide the ball with what they’re doing.”
Santilli said getting their viewership and readership educated about the new economic model is important, especially with flourishing news outlets attracting big advertisers who are promoting censorship and cancel culture.
The host pointed out that these big money movers are funding the operations because they can reach millions of people to promote specific agenda.
Fritsch agreed, noting that the entire corporate media is basically owned by six companies. He cited that crony capitalism has taken over the news media funded by wealthy individuals, corporations or organizations.
