Despite for years claiming that the social media platform is “politically neutral,” the employees of Twitter, many of whom were fired after Elon Musk took over, are freaking out over the prospect that the all-new Twitter might soon embrace free speech rather than continue banning it.
One former Twitter contract employee, a biological male who self-identifies as a “trans female,” told NBC News – watch below – that “she” is worried about the future of Twitter under Musk.
A former “moderator,” this person is highly distressed over the possibility that soon people like Donald Trump and his followers might be allowed to tweet more content without having it removed and their accounts banned.
Musk initially claimed to support free speech but has since changed his tune to suggest that the rules already in place at Twitter will remain the same. (Related: Remember when Elon Musk lied about “fully” self-driving cars?)
Over the past week, some 400 contract employees at Twitter, most of them moderators, were canned after Musk took the helm. Many of them are distressed that free speech could soon be a thing again.
Never mind the fact that anyone who finds a post or use on Twitter to be “offensive” can simply block that post or account, these ex-contract employees are behaving as though the end of the world has arrived now that Musk is in charge.
“The next most exploited argument is that ‘hate speech’ will run rampant on the site – But the term ‘hate speech’ has become so diluted by false leftist accusations and fraudulent hype that it is now meaningless,” reports Zero Hedge.
“Even the term ‘groomer’ was banned on Twitter before Elon Musk took over.”
It is certainly the end of an era over at Twitter. What comes next is still unknown, but if ex-employees’ reactions are any indicator, chances are things will loosen up and free speech will find its way back onto the platform.
The corporate-controlled media, meanwhile, is predicting the implosion of Twitter. Many of them claim that user numbers will drop off dramatically over the Musk takeover, especially if Donald Trump and his supporters are allowed to use the platform in the same way as leftists.
“Has the Earth exploded because of less moderation on Twitter? No,” the Hedge adds.
“Has the Third Reich returned because gender identity warriors aren’t sitting on their laptops at home banning people who say Lizzo’s obesity is unhealthy or that men cannot be women, cannot menstruate and cannot have babies? Nothing has happened.”
Because none of this has actually happened, we can only assume that the leftist censorship model is all about power and control. It has nothing to do with keeping things “civil,” especially when uncivil leftists have been controlling the platform for the better part of the last half decade at least.
“A mentally ill man wearing a wig does not make a woman,” wrote a commenter about the ex-moderator at Twitter who appeared on NBC News.
“I will wear not having EVER tweeted as a badge of honor,” wrote another about how he has never, nor will he ever, use Twitter for any reason whatsoever. “I think the world was a better place when the Freakshow was a side attraction at the traveling carnival. Making it a feature of mainstream society does not bode well for our future prospects.”
“While I could not care less about their ‘identity’ issues, censoring potentially life-saving information during the Plandemic is UNFORGIVABLE.”
