InfoWars founder Alex Jones remarked that the Democrats tried and failed to silence presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (RFK Jr.) during a House hearing.
“The Democrats tried to censor him [RFK Jr.] from the beginning for things he had not yet said,” Jones commented. “They tried to censor him to not be able to speak at a censorship hearing about government covertly censoring people. They tried to censor him by putting out a bunch of false things he never said, defaming him, and then saying he’s censured and not able to speak, but they didn’t control the House [Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government.]”
While RFK Jr. was still able to speak, Democrats were repeatedly interrupting him. Jones said of this censorship attempt: “This is beyond Orwellian. This is Orwellian to the next level to the next power, perhaps ten powers.” (Related: Report: Democrats want to censor Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in censorship hearing.)
“These people are destroying themselves. They are insane. They are absolutely gone off the deep end. They are crazy. They didn’t just call for him to not be able to speak. They then told lies of why he shouldn’t speak. They are trying to censure him for things he didn’t say he points that out. They do it before the hearing starts.”
The InfoWars founder then played several clips from the hearing that show Delegate Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) and Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) trying to stop RFK Jr. from speaking. The non-voting delegate for the U.S. Virgin Islands said the First Amendment isn’t absolute and “hateful, abusive rhetoric” is not promoted in the House of Representatives.
Meanwhile, the Florida congresswoman cited RFK’s earlier comments that were allegedly “anti-Semitic” and “anti-Asian.” Wasserman Schultz went so far as to introduce a motion to make the House hearing a closed-door session with no media presence, but this proposal was shelved by the Republican-dominated subcommittee.
Jones also played a clip of the Democratic presidential candidate speaking about why the First Amendment is important when talking about issues that directly impact the American people during the hearing. In relation to this, RFK recounted one such instance of YouTube de-platforming him while talking about Paul Revere.
“I didn’t talk about vaccines in that speech. I didn’t talk about anything that was verboten subject. I was just talking about my campaign. Things the conversation that we ought to be happy with each other as Americans, but I was shut down,” he testified.
“That is why the First Amendment’s important. Debate, congenial, respectful debate is the fertilizer, it’s the water, it’s the sunlight for our democracy. We need to be talking to each other out there.”
RFK Jr. noted that the First Amendment “sets us apart from all of the previous forms of government.” He continued: “We need to be able to talk. The First Amendment was not written for easy speech; it was written for the speech that nobody likes you for.”
Jones also expounded on RFK Jr.’s allegedy “anti-Semitic” remarks which, in reality, pertained to scientific papers the candidate read about the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). The pathogen was allegedly modified to target White and Black people, and Chinese and Ashkenazi Jews weren’t affected on the same level as other racial groups. This observation prompted accusations of anti-Semitism against the nephew of former President John F. Kennedy.
“That is a fact. It didn’t say the Ashkenazi Jews made it, didn’t say they released it, simply stating what is published science,” the InfoWars founder remarked. “That’s all these people can operate on. If you don’t want bioweapons being made in the lab that could kill people, you’re now anti-Semitic.”

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not an anti-vaxxer, he’s an advocate for truth.
Leftists argue government censorship is the highest form of speech.
